Durant tot el curs oferim la modalitat híbrida, de manera que els/les alumnes que per motius sanitaris hagin de quedar-se a casa, poden seguir les classes via online.
Les sessions que per restriccions sanitàries no es puguin realitzar presencialment es faran en format online, dins l’horari i calendari habituals.

Descripció del curs
Aquest curs d’entrenament en anglès per a joves està dirigit a adolescents amb qualsevol mena d’experiència i objectius: persones principiants, intermèdies i avançades seran benvingudes, ja que el focus del curs de teatre estarà en la nova perspectiva d’actuar en un idioma estranger.
L’objectiu del curs, a banda de la peça dramàtica final, és que les persones estudiants tinguin un primer contacte amb la interpretació teatral en anglès i guanyin experiència mentre s’ho passen bé. El curs de teatre es farà completament en anglès.
Description of the course
Training in English course is aimed at teenagers with all kind of experience and objectives: beginners, intermediate and advanced will be welcome, since the focus of the theatre course will be on the new approach of acting in a foreign language.
The objective of the theatre course, apart from the final dramatic piece, is for students to have a first contact with acting in English and gain experience while having fun. The theatrical course will be taught entirely in English.

Metodologia
Durant la primera part del curs de teatre en anglès, ens dedicarem a aprendre i revisar els aspectes generals de la interpretació teatral i les normes bàsiques durant una actuació, però amb l’eina de l’anglès inclosa. Aprendrem les diferències entre la interpretació teatral i cinemàtica, i com aplicar la mateixa veracitat i credibilitat que posseïm en la nostra llengua a un altre idioma.
A la segona part, tindrem una intensa pràctica en l’actuació en anglès amb l’ús d’improvisació teatral, dinàmiques lingüístiques i activitats per guanyar fluïdesa parlant i escrivint en anglès, també amb exercicis dedicats al vocabulari escènic i a expressions que podríem trobar en un text dramàtic.
Acabarem el curs de teatre amb una tercera part en la qual crearem col•lectivament una peça dramàtica (teatral o cinematogràfica), l’assajarem i la interpretarem al final del curs.
Methodology
During the first part of the theatrical English course, we will focus on learning or revising the main aspects of acting and the basic rules during a performance, but with the English asset included. We will learn the differences between theatrical and cinematic acting, and how to apply to a foreign language the same truth and credibility that we own in our mother tongue.
On the second part, we will have an intense practice on acting in English with the use of improvisation, linguistic dynamics and activities to gain fluency in speaking and reading English, also with exercises dedicated to scene vocabulary and phrases we could find in a dramatic text.
We will finish the course with a third part in which we will collectively create a dramatic piece (theatrical or cinematic), rehearsing and performing at the end of the course.
Oriol Castro
Actor, guionista i professor d’interpretació en anglès. Des que era adolescent s’ha format en interpretació, mentre més tard cursava el grau d’Estudis Anglesos a la UB i un màster en Guió de Ficció a l’ECIB. El seu entrenament actoral inclou formació dramàtica a l’escola Eòlia, així com cursos amb Mel Churcher, Luci Lenox i Boyan Ivic. Ha combinat el seu aprenentatge interpretatiu amb altres feines, com la de professor d’anglès. També ha treballat dins l’equip de comunicació de projectes del Parlament Europeu, i com a realitzador de diversos spots de disseminació per l’EIT Health. Entre la seva trajectòria artística, ha estat co-director i actor del grup de teatre de la UB, i ha actuat en diferents projectes teatrals estrenats al Sant Andreu Teatre o a La Seca Espai Brossa, així com a diversos curts i videoclips. El 2017, va escriure, dirigir i protagonitzar la seva primera pel•lícula de baix pressupost “Minnesota”, que va seguir el 2019 amb “ring of a man called sheshonq”, actualment en postproducció.
